Ordering

When does my order start printing?

The cutoff is 5:00 PM Arizona time, Monday through Friday. Order before that on a business day and it goes to production the same day. Order after it, or on a weekend or US federal holiday, and it starts the next business day. Arizona does not observe daylight saving time, so the cutoff does not move in summer.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Yes, within 12 hours of placing it. Email support@urbansatchel.com with your order number. After 12 hours the order is in production and cannot be changed. You can still return it after it arrives.

Do you have a phone number?

No. We do not run a phone line, and we would rather say so than list a number nobody answers. Email support@urbansatchel.com and a person replies within 1 business day.

Can I order more than one item?

Yes. Items may arrive in separate packages because different garments can print at different facilities. You pay shipping once per order, and orders of $79 or more ship free.

Shipping

How long does delivery take?

10 to 13 business days from order to doorstep. That is 3 to 4 business days of printing plus 7 to 9 business days in transit, counted from the cutoff above. Business days exclude weekends and US federal holidays.

How much is shipping?

$7.95 on orders under $79, free on orders of $79 or more. There are no other fees.

Is sales tax added at checkout?

No. Sales tax is already included in the price on the product page. There is no separate tax line at checkout, so the item price plus shipping is the total you are charged.

Where do you ship?

All 50 states, Washington DC, Puerto Rico, US territories, and APO/FPO/DPO addresses. We do not ship outside the United States.

Where is my order printed?

At our print partner’s facility nearest you, usually in the United States. The blank T-shirt is made in Honduras and the blank sweatshirt in Honduras or El Salvador. The garments are not American-made and we do not describe them that way.

Will I get tracking?

Yes, by email when the package ships. The first scan can take 24 to 48 hours to appear.

Returns

What is your return policy?

30 days from the delivery date, and we pay for the return label. No restocking fee. Refunds go to your original payment method within 5 business days after the item reaches us. Full details are on the Returns and refunds page.

Where do returns go?

To our address in Phoenix, Arizona, using the prepaid label we email you. It is a mailing address, not a store. Please do not drop items off in person.

The print arrived damaged or wrong. What now?

Email a photo within 48 hours of delivery. We reprint or refund, your choice, and you do not need to send the item back unless we ask.

Product and sizing

What are the shirts made of?

The T-shirt is a Bella+Canvas 3001: 100% Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton, 4.2 oz. Heather colors are cotton-poly blends. The sweatshirt is a Comfort Colors 1566: 80% ring-spun cotton, 20% polyester, 9.5 oz, garment-dyed.

Are the product images photographs of the shirt I will get?

No. They are print previews. We do not photograph finished garments. Each image is either a preview generated by our print partner, showing the design on the exact garment color we print on, or a close-up of the artwork file. Print placement can shift up to an inch from the preview, and screens render color differently. The Disclaimer lists what can vary.

Which colors and sizes do you sell?

Tees come in White, Ash, Natural, Heather Ice Blue and Heather Prism Ice Blue, sizes S–3XL. The crewneck comes in White, sizes S–3XL. Not every tee color comes in every size; the size picker only shows what we can print. We stopped selling dark colors on 09/05/2026 because the artwork prints on a white panel that shows on dark fabric.

Does a bigger size cost more?

No. Every size of a design costs the same. One price per product, S through 3XL, so the price you see on the card is the price you pay whichever size you pick.

How do the sizes run?

The T-shirt is a unisex retail fit; the sweatshirt is a relaxed fit. Both are sized for adults. Measurements in inches are on the Size guide. If you are between sizes, most people go up on the sweatshirt.

Is there a white box around the print?

On White it blends in. On Ash, Natural and the two ice-blue heathers a faint lighter rectangle is visible up close, exactly as the print preview for that color shows. Look at the preview for the color you are choosing before you order.

How do I wash it?

Machine wash cold, inside out, and tumble dry low. Do not bleach with chlorine and do not dry clean. Ironing over the print is not recommended.

Company

Why “Satchel” if you sell shirts?

The name came before the drawings did. We do not sell bags, satchels, or luggage. Everything on this site is a printed T-shirt or crewneck sweatshirt, and we have no plans to add bags. If you came here looking for one, we are the wrong shop.

Who runs Urban Satchel?
