You pay once, in US dollars, at the moment you place the order. There are no subscriptions, no recurring charges, and no fees beyond the item price and shipping.
Accepted payment methods
The payment methods we accept are the ones shown on the checkout page. We list them there rather than here so the list is always current. All payments go through Shopify’s checkout and are processed by third-party payment providers that maintain PCI DSS compliance. Card details never touch our own systems.
When you are charged

Sales tax
Sales tax is already included in the price you see on the product page. We do not add a separate tax line at checkout. The item price plus shipping is the total you are charged, and the total shown on the review step is what leaves your account.
Authorization holds
Some banks show a pending authorization for a few days after a declined or canceled order. That is a hold, not a charge, and the bank releases it on its own schedule, usually within 3 to 7 business days.
What appears on your statement
The descriptor on your card statement is set in our payment provider account. If you see a charge you do not recognize, email support@urbansatchel.com with the amount and date before disputing it with your bank. We reply within 1 business day and can usually match it to an order.
Refunds
Refunds go back to the payment method you used. We issue them within 5 business days of receiving a return. Your bank can take 3 to 10 business days more to post the credit.
Pricing errors
If an item is listed at an obviously wrong price, we may cancel the order before it ships and refund you in full. We email you first.
Security
The site and checkout use HTTPS with TLS encryption. Payment providers handle card data under their own PCI DSS obligations. We never ask for card numbers by email.
